Questions Answers

Regarding the highlighted statement, “No Partial shipments are permitted . . .”, are shipments from two separate manufacturers to the Doral, Florida location, considered partial shipments?

No, the Government does not consider this partial shipment.

Can the tables be 8 inches longer, or 8 inches shorter?

Size should be as requested 72” length x 24” width x 29” height.

Is there a specified weight, range, and limit?

Approximate weight between 60 to 70 lbs.

Can the tables be delivered with the legs detached for shipping purposes?

Yes, for shipping purposes legs might be separate from table tops.

The last bullet states “Important Requirement:

Must have power grommet installed at center edge of table with at least . . .”. In discussion with furniture manufacturers, the standard procedure is for holes to be made in the tables where required, and the grommets are boxed separately for shipping. Actual installation prior to shipping precludes flat stacking thereby complicating packaging, and significantly increases damage to tables and the grommets during shipping.

Will the government please clarify if the wording “must have power grommet installed at center edge of the table . . . means that the hole must be made at center edge of table such that the grommet can be installed at that location during final assembly along with the legs?

The Government will accept the grommet boxed separately for shipping. The holes shall be made at center edge of table, and the grommet can be installed at the location during final assembly.
