About this file

This is a reference document and map produced by the USDA Forest Service's Geospatial Technology and Applications Center that provides contact information and locations for Job Corps Civilian Conservation Centers (CCCs).

The document identifies twenty-four Job Corps CCCs operated by the Forest Service in partnership with the U.S. Department of Labor, distributed across five Forest Service regions: Northern Region (2 centers in Montana), Rocky Mountain Region (3 centers in South Dakota, Colorado, and Nebraska), Intermountain Region (1 center in Utah), Pacific Northwest Region (6 centers in Oregon and Washington), Southern Region (10 centers across Arkansas, Kentucky, Virginia, Tennessee, and North Carolina), and Eastern Region (3 centers in Wisconsin, West Virginia, and Missouri). Each center listing includes the facility name, complete street address, city, state, zip code, telephone number, and fax number. The centers provide youth ages 16 to 24 with opportunities to earn high school diplomas, GEDs, and vocational certifications in trades including carpentry, welding, heavy equipment operations, forestry, firefighting, and urban forestry. The accompanying map, produced September 22, 2020, displays the geographic distribution of all centers in relation to national forests and grasslands. The primary point of contact for the map is Alicia D. Bennett at alicia.d.bennett@usda.gov.
