About this file
This document is a Justification for Other Than Full and Open Competition (J&A) for the Defense Logistics Agency (DLA) Land and Maritime. The solicitation (SPE7MX25RX026) is for the acquisition of Display, Indicator Light components (NSN 5980-01-203-9495) with an annual demand of 4,260 units. The contract is a 5-year Indefinite Delivery/Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ) contract with a 1-year base period and 4-year option period, with WAMCO, INC. (CAGE 58774) identified as the sole source.
The procurement is being conducted under 10 U.S.C. 3204(a)(1), specifically using AMSC 3 authority to acquire directly from the manufacturer. DLA conducted a Sources Sought Notice and market survey from 04/10/25 - 07/07/25, which yielded no additional sources. The solicitation will be synopsized on September 10, 2025, posted to the DLA Internet Bid System for 15 days, and dealers of the approved source will be solicited. The document indicates a price analysis will be performed, and the total contract value is subject to competition advocate approval for the range between $750,000 and $15,000,000.
