A search was conducted for any potential Small Business that may possess the capabilities to repair this asset using the Dynamic Small Business Search (DSBS) web site, which yielded 94 potential vendors. Vendors identified through these searches were evaluated for capability. Each vendors' web-based product line or product history was reviewed to determine if the part(s) under consideration were being repaired by that vendor or if that vendor had information concerning associate contract agreements with SAC to share or acquire the proprietary data for the specific part(s) under consideration. No data was found; therefore the potential vendors were determined non-capable based on lack of access to necessary proprietary data to repair and/or test the Refueling Probe.
The Refueling Probe assembly does not fit the definition of a commercial item as defined in FAR Part
