About this file
This document is a Justification for Other Than Full and Open Competition (J&A) for an interim contract extension with Opus Group, LLC for Information Assurance Support Services at the Department of State's Foreign Service Institute (FSI). The current contract (19FS1A24C0001) will be extended up to 6 months to ensure continuity of services while the agency completes source selection for a re-compete on an 8(a) STARS III set-aside solicitation, with an anticipated award date in April 2025.
The contract's estimated total value is $1,881,15.60 and covers critical IT support services including conducting vulnerability assessments, monitoring IT systems, providing systems administration support, and ensuring operational continuity for FSI's Office of Management Information Systems. The services are essential for supporting FSI's mission of developing personnel for U.S. leadership roles, with the interim extension preventing potential major deficiencies in IT Information Assurance and LAN administration that could severely impact FSI's operational capabilities, including active learning classes and training courses.
