(real-time), giving the mission planning community confidence in the ability to execute the courses of action which are developed and presented to senior leadership for decision making.

Examples include: detailed pier data (identifying whether there is support for a ship’s ramp for roll on and roll off operations or if there are cranes sufficient to support loading), commercial vessel characteristics, real time ship location data, and deck information and identification of whether the ship has the ability to handle hazardous cargo. The site also provides International Maritime Organization ship identification number scheme and country of origin used to comply with regulations to prevent maritime fraud and enhance the security of merchant vessels.

The map planning tool provides a visualization allowing for day-by-day planning with integrated sea navigation rules. The mapping function also identifies piracy and danger areas to be used for risk mitigation to ensure security of the mission enabling quick “what-if” scenario development.

No other vendor combines all of these required capabilities into one package and conveniently consolidates the information for the end user. The subscription provides real time courses of action development and visualization to senior leaders for quickly identifying options and preserving decision space to enable USTRANSCOM to maintain the decision advantage. There is currently no other subscription service providing all of these important capabilities under one solution.
