General Information
1.0 Scope of Work
The contract shall include the materials and labor to install approximately 55 linear feet of 6’ height security chain-link fencing with barbed wire strands totaling an additional 1 foot height (to match existing adjacent fencing, see photos). The work shall also include the installation of a 4 foot swing gate matching the security and height of the fencing, as well as all post foundations as described in the standard detail drawings. The proposed fencing shall tie into existing fencing perpendicularly, and at an existing post (reference design drawings).
2.0 Background
This project is located at the Marlinton Ranger District Office Administrative Site located at 1627 Cemetery Road, Marlinton, WV 24954. The fencing shall be installed with a setback to the existing radio tower and concrete tower base, as shown on the plans.
There shall be access to restrooms in the office building, and power and water are also available at the site, but approval from the COR shall be made prior to use of these facilities.
Contractor Requirements
3.0 Technical Requirements / Tasks
The contractor shall demonstrate proof of a minimum of 1 similar project installing fencing in a similar manner to the designed fencing. The contractor shall be licensed in the state of West Virginia and be fully insured.
5.0 Deliverables / Schedule
