Statement of Work
Project Fenwick Site Improvements
General Information
1.0 Scope of Work
The contract work is to provide and install site improvements at the Fenwick Storage Site on the Monongahela National Forest. See Part 2 of this document for more detailed explanation. The Fenwick Storage Area for the Monongahela National Forest requires further site development and upgrades. The base bid for this project is to provide and install wooden utility poles, attach light fixtures, associated conduit and circuits, GFCI outlets, chain link security fencing, locks, and a steel tube gate. There is an optional item for providing and placing additional stone at the site. The contract work shall include all materials, labor, and incidentals to complete the work described in the contract documents. All work shall comply with applicable laws, codes, and regulations, and shall be in accordance with the contract plans and specifications.

Electrical Work Shall be Completed by a WV Licensed Electrician.
Item No. Deliverable Objective Due 0001 Mobilization Mobilize to the Site - 0002 Steel Tube Gate Provide and install a 24’ steel gate made up of 2 – 12’ sections in accordance with the plans and specifications. Posts, locking pin, steel, signs, hardware, concrete, and any other materials and work to fabricate and install the gate are to be provided by the contractor. Once the new gate is installed, the existing 20’10” wide red gate (gate and posts) shall be removed by the contractor and move to an approved storage location on site.
Period Of Performance End Date
0003 Chain Link Fence & Gate Provide and install an 8’ tall chain link fence (25’x45’ area) with a 20’ wide swing gate and approximately 70LF of privacy fabric.
(140LF of Fence Including Gate). The gate shall consist of 2 – 10’ sections. The fence and gate shall comply with the plans and specifications. Stone, concrete, and other items for proper installation are incidental to this item.
Period Of
0004 Outdoor Lighting & Outlets Provide and install 2 utility poles with 1 light fixture each; 2 – 20amp wiring circuits and associated conduit; and 2 GFCI electrical outlets, to be mounted on the utility poles. Stone, concrete, and other items for proper installation are incidental to this item.
Period Of Performance End Date
0005 Lock Upgrades Provide and install 3 – Grade 1 Deadbolt Locks in the existing double doors of the storage building on site (1 lock for each door). The screws on the exterior face of each existing latch mechanism shall be welded in place. Welding, fabrication, painting, and other items of work are incidental to this item.
Period Of
1001 3/4” Crusher Run Provide and place ¾” Crusher Run at the site in a manner approved by the COR in writing. Place stone prior to the installation of the chain link fence if the optional item is awarded. Stone shall be placed in a manner such that site drainage away from the building is not impaired and, in a manner, to prevent ponding of water anywhere on the project site. This stone is separate from the stone incidental to the other items in the SOI.
