About this file

This document is a Purchase Order Request for Proposals (PORFP) issued by the Maryland Department of Transportation (MDOT) under the Hardware Master Contract. The purpose of this PORFP is to solicit bids for the procurement of CISCO network equipment and associated services to support the Maryland Transit Administration (MTA) and Bus/MARC network. The required items include network communication equipment, installation and training services, and manufacturer's extended warranty. The PORFP is limited to Master Contractors awarded under the Hardware Master Contract BPO #060B24900022-2015, and the due date for proposals is June 30, 2023, at 2:00 PM local time.

The PORFP outlines the evaluation criteria, which include price requirements, PO terms, and adherence to the technical specifications. This is a Small Business Reserve Procurement, and only certified small businesses registered in eMMA are eligible for award. The agency will recommend award to the Master Contractor whose proposal is determined to be the most advantageous to the State, considering price and the evaluation factors set forth in the PORFP.
