3.0 Background
Pagosa Ranger Station has begun to have sewer line issues. After an initial assessment it was found that the main sewer line, made of 4-foot clay pipe sections, has multiple bellies and is becoming disconnected at joints allowing for freezing and roots to enter the line. This has affected roughly 50 feet of line. The internal section of plumbing is also suspected to need descaling as its old steel pipe. This has affected roughly 25 feet of line.
