TextField1: Customer Relations Management (CRM) software and services to support the Commission's Office of External Relations in managing communication/contacts with members of Congress and others.
TextField1: A competitive procurement for FEDRAMP (Moderate) compliant software was conducted by the Commission in FY-19, Q1, which returned only 2 potential vendors (Salesforce (SF) and Knowwho (KW)). Salesforce provides the cloud storage (licenses). KnowWho is a data service that sits in Salesforce, both are required. The Commission market research at that time discovered Carashsoft, who is capable of providing the requirement and without having to split the award between 2 vendors. Since that time, OER has invested significant time and resources in customizing the Salesforce/KnowWho system for the Commission's needs. Switching to another vendor now would require significant new investment in a system that is working well.
TextField1: Market research conducted resulted in two potential vendors identified that Carahsoft Technology Corp had the capability to provide: both the FEDRAMP compliant cloud storage as well as the data service.
