which affects Individual Medical Readiness rates and the total force posture. A reduction in the ANG’s total force posture will decrease the ANG’s ability to deploy its forces in support of the U.S. Air Force’s mission requirements.
In summary, without continuance of these services, the ANG will encounter the following:
a) The ANG/SG will see a significant reduction in the credentialing of its medical providers, furthermore the potential exists for a partial work stoppage affecting the total Air National Guard.
b) ANG units, military treatment facilities, recruiters, NGB directorates, and other certification/waiver authorities within the Air Force, National Guard and Reserve Command will be affected.
c) ANG personnel undergoing medical provider interaction(s) may need to cease as the providers may not be credentialed to provide the medical interaction. This interaction in most situations involve the medical readiness of the ANG, affecting the total force.
This requirement supports critical behind the scenes responsibilities and analytical support which impact’s the total force. This contract is crucial to maintain a continuous dedicated flow of C&P services.
