About this file

This document outlines a statement of work for water damage remediation services at the Schenck Job Corps Center in Pisgah Forest, North Carolina. The scope of work includes removing debris from building interiors, disposing of affected materials, conducting dehumidification, cleaning floors and walls, sanitizing and disinfecting affected areas, removing exterior debris, providing waste disposal dumpsters, coordinating hazardous material testing, and cleaning floor drains. The solicitation requests these services be provided as a lump sum for all 71,400 square feet of damaged buildings specified. Interested vendors must visit the site and are responsible for all labor, equipment, and valid licenses to complete the work by an unspecified deadline. The U.S. Forest Service Job Corps seeks these remediation services following widespread water intrusion of up to 49 inches at the Schenck facility from a major flood event on August 16, 2021.
