About this file
This Addendum #1 is a clarification document issued on March 6, 2026, for Invitation to Quote (IWQ) 121855 regarding the purchase and start-up of a generator at the Peachtree Station Pump Station for the Georgia Cherokee Division of Water Resources (GCDWR). The project requires a 240V 3 Phase DELTA generator with a sound enclosure to be installed inside an existing pump station building. The scope of work includes supply, start-up, and testing services, with installation to be performed by GCDWR's annual contractor. The addendum clarifies that GCDWR will handle offloading of the generator and automatic transfer switch upon carrier arrival, and no pre-quote meetings or site walk-throughs are scheduled. A bid bond is not required for this solicitation.
The addendum addresses manufacturer approval, indicating that requests for "approved equal" manufacturers such as Generac and Gillette Generators will be evaluated at the Owner and Engineer's sole discretion following the quote deadline. Specific equipment models such as the PD50-01 50 kW diesel standby generator will be assessed under the same approval process. Pricing terms and award details are not specified in this addendum document, which serves primarily to respond to eleven bidder inquiries and clarify technical and procedural requirements for quote submission. The addendum must be signed by the authorized representative and returned with the bid; failure to do so may result in the bid being deemed non-responsive.
