About this file

This addendum to IWQ 1-660875 clarifies the scope of work for Lenora Park Pool Improvements, a project by Gwinnett County, Georgia's Department of Community Services. The project involves comprehensive pool rehabilitation including complete removal and replacement of all pool plaster down to the gunite shell in two layers, replacement of expansion joint materials inside the pool only, and cleaning and regrouting of existing tile on pool stairs. Up to 50 square feet of tile may be removed and replaced as directed by the owner's representative, with the specific tile type to be coordinated between Gwinnett County and the awarded contractor prior to installation. The contractor is responsible for maintaining the pool and deck areas free of construction debris and may refill the pool while plaster installation is underway.

The addendum confirms that bonds are not required for this project and establishes contractor responsibilities for several key operational aspects. The awarded contractor shall supply all balancing chemicals, assume full responsibility for pool startup processes including coordination with county staff, and perform all work as detailed in Section 01 1010 of the scope of work. The addendum does not reference specific pricing terms, response dates, due dates, or contract award information, focusing instead on clarifying technical requirements and contractor obligations through question-and-answer format responses provided by Gwinnett County Purchasing Associate Jake Scarpone on March 9, 2022.
