The Maine OIT currently operates twelve grid-based Infoblox appliances that are nearing the end of their vendor support period, and this procurement represents the initial phase of a planned upgrade to be completed within one year. The bid solicitation requests pricing for six Infoblox IB-1550-A-NS1GRID appliances with Network Services One Grid configuration and one year of annual maintenance for each unit. All products must be new manufacture and delivered within fifteen business days of purchase order receipt, with shipping and handling provided at no cost to the State of Maine. Bidders must be authorized Infoblox channel partners with offices located within 150 miles of Augusta, Maine.
Bid awards will be based on the lowest total extended cost for all requested items, including the six appliances and one year of annual maintenance. Maintenance quotes must include direct 24 x 7 Infoblox support via an 800 number and next business day replacement service for failed units. Bidders are required to submit pricing for the specified equipment and maintenance items and may include any additional applicable costs or discounts in their responses. The Maine OIT intends to negotiate with the selected bidder for upgrades to the remaining six appliances as funding becomes available, indicating a potential for contract expansion beyond the initial procurement scope.
