About this file
This document is an Invitation to Bid (ITB) issued by the Idaho Transportation Department (ITD) through the Idaho Division of Purchasing (DOP) for concrete and asphalt bridge deck repair materials. The ITB requests bids from vendors for 27 specified products, including sealants, adhesives, mortars, and expansion joints, with estimated annual quantities provided. The bid submission deadline is specified, and the initial contract term is one year with the possibility of up to six total years through renewals. Deliveries must be made to six ITD district locations, with lead times and shipping requirements detailed. The award(s) will be made to the responsive, responsible bidder(s) providing the lowest total price.
The ITB outlines the cost and billing procedures, requiring fully burdened total prices on the bid schedule and invoicing within 30 days of each delivery. No minimum order quantities are guaranteed. Bidders must be authorized distributors for the offered brands and provide supporting documentation. A price adjustment clause allows for increases tied to the contractor's actual cost increases after the initial 12-month period.
