About this file

This Invitation to Bid (ITB) is issued by the City of Gatesville, Texas, for the lease and operation of a concession stand at the City of Gatesville Sports Complex. The ITB seeks a qualified concessionaire to provide food and beverage services at the facility. The contract is structured as a one-year initial term with options to extend for two additional one-year periods contingent upon mutual agreement between the selected concessionaire and the City of Gatesville. The document outlines the operational requirements, expectations, and evaluation criteria that prospective bidders must address in their proposals.

The ITB establishes the framework for pricing negotiations and operational terms between the City and the selected concessionaire. Key considerations include revenue sharing arrangements, facility maintenance responsibilities, insurance and liability requirements, and compliance with local health and safety regulations. Bidders are required to demonstrate financial capability, relevant experience in food service operations, and ability to maintain customer service standards. The concession stand operation is expected to generate revenue for both the concessionaire and the City, with specific terms regarding rent, concession fees, or profit-sharing arrangements to be detailed in the ITB specifications and evaluated during the bidding process.
