About this file
This document is an addendum issued by the Northwest Florida Water Management District for Invitation to Bid (ITB) No. 25B-001 for Janitorial Services for the DeFuniak Springs Office. The addendum changes the bid submission deadline to Thursday, October 17, 2024, at 2:30 P.M. ET and provides answers to questions received during the inquiry period. The questions address the site visit requirements, the incumbent contractor, historical contract pricing, responsibility for providing consumables, evaluation criteria, living wage requirements, and any special services beyond standard cleaning tasks.
The previous contract for janitorial services at the DeFuniak Springs Office was paid through purchase orders, with timeframes and amounts provided for the last three fiscal years. The District will not provide consumables such as paper towels, soap, and toilet paper, and the contractor is responsible for providing these. The bid does not have a requirement for living wages, but some counties in Florida have passed ordinances requiring a living wage. There are no special services required on a quarterly or annual basis beyond the standard cleaning tasks outlined in the agreement.
