About this file
This document is Addendum 1 to the Invitation to Bid (ITB) 240014 issued by the Jackson County Board of Commissioners for a Parking Lot Seal Coating and Restriping project. The addendum provides responses to questions submitted by interested engineering firms regarding the scope of work, preferred work schedule, and extent of restriping required at the three project locations - the Jackson County Courthouse, Correctional Institute, and Mental Health facility. The addendum specifies that the County will remove excessive debris, but the contractor is responsible for the remainder of the cleaning. Cars can be arranged to allow work on any day with 1 day's notice, and the entire parking lots at all three facilities will require full restriping, including ADA-compliant parking spaces. The bid due date is Tuesday, March 26, 2024 at 10:00 AM, and the County reserves the right to reject any and all proposals.
The original ITB solicitation indicates that the Jackson County Board of Commissioners is seeking sealed bids for the Facility Parking Lot Seal Coating and Striping Project. A 5% bid bond is required with the bid submission, and a 100% performance and payment bond will be required if the contract is awarded. Interested bidders must download the bid package from the County website or Vendor Registry. All questions and inquiries must be submitted in writing by March 7, 2024.
