About this file
This document contains written answers to vendor questions for Invitation to Bid (ITB) 2342 issued by the Florida Department of Law Enforcement (FDLE) for Panel Wall Partitions. The ITB states that installation is to be completed by September, but the manufacturer cited by the vendor has a 24-week production lead time after final approval. FDLE has indicated in Addendum 1 dated May 5, 2023 that this lead time issue will be addressed. The ITB also specifies that there is a required Sound Transmission Coefficient (STC) rating for the wall panels, which is clarified in the May 5th Addendum.
The state and local contract opportunity involves the procurement of panel wall partitions for FDLE within the jurisdictions of Leon County and the City of Tallahassee. The ITB does not allow for a deposit to be paid, and FDLE has stated that no such deposit will be provided.
