About this file

This document is an Addendum to Invitation to Bid (ITB) #2223-010 issued by the Agency for Persons with Disabilities (APD) for a Security Surveillance Camera Installation project. The project requires the replacement of the existing security surveillance system at the DDDP forensic compound located on the Florida State Hospital Campus in Chattahoochee, Florida, which falls under the jurisdiction of Leon County and the City of Tallahassee. The Addendum provides clarifications and answers to vendor questions regarding the scope of work, including specifications for switches, video management software, cabling, electrical power, and project scheduling. It also addresses the availability of site escorts, storage space, and coordination with the elevator maintenance contractor.

The project requires the installation of new Category 6 cabling, removal of existing coaxial cabling, and integration with a new Milestone Xprotect Corporate video management system. The selected vendor will be required to provide one year of Milestone CARE Premium support. No microphones are needed for the camera installations. The project aims to minimize operational downtime during the transition from the existing to the new security surveillance system.
