About this file

This document is a Notice of Withdrawal and Negotiation Pursuant to the Exceptional Purchase Process from the Florida Department of Corrections (FDC) for ITB-22-036 Farm Food Products. The FDC received less than two responsive bids for this Invitation to Bid (ITB) and is withdrawing the ITB to negotiate the best terms and conditions with the vendors that submitted bids. The negotiation process will not be subject to the requirements for competitive procurement. Vendors invited to participate in the negotiation will be contacted with further instructions. A notice of protest must be filed within 72 hours of this notice.

The original ITB was for the procurement of farm food products for the state of Florida, specifically in Leon County and the city of Tallahassee. The FDC is utilizing the exceptional purchase process outlined in Florida Statutes to negotiate directly with vendors rather than reissuing a competitive solicitation. No other details regarding pricing, set asides, incumbents, funding, or contract terms are provided in this notice.
