ITB 2026-04 Sheriff's Vehicles Summary
This is an Invitation to Bid (ITB) document issued by the Catoosa County Board of Commissioners for the procurement of law enforcement vehicles. The County seeks sealed bids for one 7.3L Ford F-250 STX SuperCrew pickup truck, six 3.0L Ford Explorer Interceptor SUVs, and three 3.3L Ford Explorer Interceptor SUVs. All vehicles shall be new, unused 2025 or current production models and must be delivered to the Catoosa County Sheriff's Office located at 5842 US-41, Ringgold, Georgia, complete and ready to operate. Two sealed copies of bids must be submitted to the Projects Administrator at the Catoosa County Board of Commissioners, 800 Lafayette Street, Ringgold, Georgia 30736, no later than 2:00 p.m. EST on Thursday, March 5, 2026. No pre-proposal conference is scheduled. Bidders may submit written inquiries via email to BidQuestions@catoosacountyga.gov with a deadline of 12:00 p.m. EST on Friday, February 27, 2026. Responses and addenda will be published on the Catoosa County website (www.catoosacountyga.gov/bids) on Monday, March 2, 2026. Bids will be publicly opened and read aloud following the deadline. The bid price shall remain effective for sixty days from the bid opening date.
Catoosa County reserves the right to make individual awards for each specific vehicle or line item rather than awarding a single lump-sum contract, evaluating bids on a per-item or per-group basis to determine the lowest responsive and responsible bidder. Local vendors meeting the County's local vendor privilege criteria—including an established place of business within Catoosa County and at least two employees working for six months or longer—may request to match the lowest cost if within four percent of that price. Bidders must submit the Bid Fee Form, all applicable affidavit forms, local vendor privilege affidavit (if applicable), a copy of the W-9, proof of business license or occupational tax certificate, and a vendor identification form. Contractors must possess minimum Worker's Compensation and General Liability Insurance in full force and effect and must comply with federal work authorization requirements under O.C.G.A. 13-10-91. The County gives preference to products manufactured or produced in the State of Georgia where reasonable and practicable without sacrificing quality.
