About this file
This document is Addendum No. 1 for the City of Milton's Locklin Lake Restoration - Maintenance Dredge project (BDI Project No. 25525.02), issued on 4/10/2025. The addendum provides clarifications for potential contractors regarding the project, specifically addressing six key questions about project requirements. No changes were made to the contract documents or construction plans. The project involves a maintenance dredging effort for Locklin Lake, with a post-construction survey required using Drone LiDAR technology.
The addendum confirms that no pre-construction survey is required, and three soil samples were collected and analyzed, with no indication of contamination. Dredge material can be disposed of in an upland area by legal means, but cannot be used for wetland fill, structural fill, or disposed of in surface waters. The Santa Rosa County Landfill will utilize a paint filter test to determine spoil dryness and will waive tipping fees for the dredge material. The specific budget for the project was not disclosed, with the document stating that the value of allocated funding is not available at this time. Contractors are required to acknowledge receipt of this addendum.
