About this file
Addendum No. 2 for the Rehabilitation of Powder House project in Idaho Springs, Colorado, was issued by Hoehn Architects PC on October 15, 2024, and distributed to several construction contractors including Performance Construction, Whitestone Construction, Spectrum General Contractors, and Rocky Mountain Building Restoration, with a copy to the City of Idaho Springs. The addendum provides key clarifications for the construction project, specifically addressing four critical points: (1) confirming that picnic tables and benches are not to be included in the bid, (2) clarifying that neither the underside of the new roof structure nor the new wood floor will be painted, (3) noting that a 5' x 5' stoop will be added at a later date, and (4) confirming that the "dry zone" drainage work immediately adjacent to the building is within the project's scope of work.
The addendum serves to refine and clarify the project details for potential bidders, ensuring precise understanding of the rehabilitation requirements for the historic Powder House. By providing these specific instructions, the document helps contractors accurately prepare their bids and understand the exact expectations for the project. The document does not discuss specific pricing terms, funding sources, or contract financial details, but focuses on technical and scope-related clarifications for the construction work.
