Question: Is this JHU/APL announcement related to the prior Sources Sought of the same title, but numbered ISO129926388?

Response: Yes

Question: This sole source scope to JHU/APL is similar to the sources sought scope which is similar to the CWMD IDIQ scope (HDTRA1-12-R-0016). The JHU/APL scope, however, includes "assessments" which were not a part of the CWMD IDIQ. Can you comment on the scope difference between the JHU/APL effort and the CWMD IDIQ

(for example, when one vehicle would be used versus the other)?

Response: Although the scope of this SOO is similar to the RD CWMD IDIQ, the scale of a DTRA sole source IDIQ contract with JHU/APL UARC will be limited to a 3 year ordering period and a ceiling of $9M. All task orders placed against a DTRA JHU/APL

UARC IDIQ will be documented as falling within one of the three JHU/APL’s UARC core competencies as stated in the Notice of Intent within the authority of 10 U.S.C.

2304(c)(1) as implemented by Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) 6.302-3, “Industrial mobilization; engineering, developmental, or research capability; or expert services”.
