Intoxilyzer Mouthpiece Terms Summary

This document establishes the terms and specifications for mouthpieces used with Intoxilyzer CMI Intoxilyzer 5000 devices for the State of Maine. The file specifies technical requirements and standards that replacement mouthpieces must meet to ensure compatibility and proper functioning with the breath analysis equipment. The mouthpieces are consumable components subject to regular replacement due to sanitary requirements and wear. The document outlines the procurement specifications for these single-use or limited-use components that serve as the interface between testing subjects and the breath alcohol detection device.

The terms establish quality standards, material specifications, and performance requirements for acceptable mouthpiece products. The specifications likely address dimensions, materials composition, sterility requirements, and compatibility certifications necessary for use in law enforcement breath testing protocols. Any pricing, quantity requirements, and delivery terms would be negotiated through the related contract opportunity for procurement of these supplies for Maine state agencies responsible for impaired driving enforcement and testing.
