About this file
This is an Intent to Sole Source document for preventive maintenance services on Getinge brand equipment. The Defense Health Agency (DHA) intends to sole source a contract to perform annual preventive maintenance on Getinge sterilizers, water savers, washers, and boilers in accordance with the IC Getinge Care Preventative Service Plan. The selected contractor must employ factory-trained technicians with a minimum of two years of experience to execute the maintenance services. This pre-solicitation opportunity (Solicitation Number HT9410) indicates the agency's determination that only the specified vendor possesses the requisite capability and authorization to provide compliant maintenance services for this specialized equipment.
The sole source justification reflects the technical requirements and manufacturer-specific training necessary to maintain the Getinge equipment to required standards. No additional pricing terms, response dates, award dates, or set-asides are specified in this intent document, as it serves primarily to announce the agency's sourcing strategy prior to formal solicitation issuance.
