DESCRIPTION: NOTICE OF INTENT TO AWARD A SOLE SOURCE CONTRACT TO AMERICAN COLLEGE OF SURGEONS FOUNDATION (CoC)
Market research was conducted, and it was determined that American College of Surgeons is the only vendor capable of providing access to all resources provided by the CoC and the tools needed upload data for comparison to other sites and to prepare for the reaccreditation visit usually held every 3 years.
The Commission on Cancer (CoC) is a consortium of professional organizations dedicated to improving survival and quality of life for cancer patients through standard setting, which promotes cancer prevention, research, education, and monitoring of comprehensive quality care. The Commission on Cancer (CoC) is the only entity in the United States with a multidisciplinary cancer program accreditation program. Nationwide, the National Cancer Institute, the Center for Disease Control and Prevention, and the U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs recognizes The CoC as the national accrediting authority for cancer programs.
This Notice of Intent is not a request for Proposals or Quotations. No solicitation document exists, and no telephone or email inquiries will be accepted.
No contract award will be made on the basis of proposals, or quotations received in response to this notice.
The Government MAY consider all Expressions of Interest (EOI) received prior to Wednesday July 12, 2023, by 10:00 AM EST.
A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed contract based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government.
Information received will be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement.
Responses to this notice must be emailed to Mariangie.Rivera@va.gov and it must be received no later than Wednesday July 19, 2023, at 10:00 AM EST.
