About this file
This document is a Statement of Work (SOW) for an Integrated Chemistry System. The Bemidji Area Indian Health Service has a need to update and standardize current chemistry equipment at its Cass Lake and Red Lake service units. The selected analyzers must provide accurate, timely chemistry results on a single platform, be compatible with the current laboratory information system, and meet the specified spatial requirements. Key objectives include providing a reagent rental for a budget-friendly, easy-to-use integrated chemistry system that can perform the required test menu at each site, with staff training, service and maintenance included. The SOW outlines specific requirements such as turnaround times, sample handling capabilities, quality control features, and installation and validation of the equipment. This SOW is associated with a Pre-Solicitation Notice for an Integrated Chemistry System contract opportunity, with a NAICS code of 621511 Medical Laboratories. The notice is for market research purposes to identify potential 100% "Buy Indian" set-aside sources that can fulfill the requirements.

Statement of Work (SOW) Integrated Chemistry System
Background:
The Bemidji Area Indian Health Service consists of two service units. Cass Lake and Red Lake function as not only clinics, but as Emergency departments and inpatient care units, serving the surrounding populations 24 hours a day 7 days a week. The service units serve as primary and emergency care for the populations.
Scope:
The Bemidji Area (BAO) IHS, Red Lake Service unit and Cass Lake Service unit have identified a need to update and standardize current chemistry equipment. The equipment chosen is required to provide accurate chemistry results in a reasonable amount of time (in an emergent event turnaround time is crucial). The selected analyzers must provide testing on a single platform. The analyzers selected will meet listed spatial requirements for each service unit. The analyzer must be compatible with service unit current laboratory information system (LIS) or the middleware in use.
Objectives:
To provide a reagent rental for a budget friendly, easy to use, integrated chemistry system that will perform entire test menu (See attached spreadsheet for site test menu requirements) for each service unit on a single platform, and stay within the scope of each service unit’s complexity guidelines.
Tasks:
· Complete test menu on one platform for each site (see attached site test menus)
· Red Lake requires two identical analyzers to operate (or two analyzers that utilize the same reagent types)
· Cass Lake Requires one analyzer to operate
· Ability to meet Turnaround times (See attached site test menus)
