About this file

This document is an Insurance Requirements file for non-contracted services issued by Collier County, Florida, specifically for the Bayshore Beautification MSTU Sidewalk Pavers Repairs & Replacement project. The contract opportunity involves sidewalk paver repair and replacement on an as-needed basis, with specific insurance and bonding requirements for potential vendors. The document outlines comprehensive insurance coverage requirements, including workers' compensation, employer's liability, commercial general liability, automobile liability, and indemnification provisions.

The insurance requirements mandate that vendors maintain specific insurance limits, such as $1,000,000 for commercial general liability and $500,000 for automobile liability. Vendors must name Collier County as an additional insured, provide 30-day cancellation notice, and ensure that all subcontractors comply with the same insurance requirements. For projects exceeding $200,000, performance and payment bonds are required, underwritten by a surety with an "A-" or better rating. Vendors must submit certificates of insurance within five days of notification of award, with the certificate holder designated as Collier County Board of County Commissioners, located at 3295 Tamiami Trail East, Naples, FL 34112.
