About this file

This document details the comprehensive Insurance and Bond Requirements for a senior care services contract issued by Flagler County, Florida. The requirements outline specific insurance coverage mandates for potential service providers, including automobile liability, commercial general liability, employer's liability, workers' compensation, professional liability, physical abuse coverage, and cyber liability insurance. Each insurance type has detailed minimum coverage limits, with policies required to name Flagler County as an additional insured and comply with specific policy form requirements.

The insurance requirements are meticulously structured to protect Flagler County's interests in a senior care services contract, with coverage limits ranging from $500,000 to $2,000,000 across various policy types. Notable specifications include mandatory workers' compensation coverage compliant with Florida and federal laws, a $500,000 physical abuse and sexual misconduct coverage requirement, and cyber liability insurance aligned with Florida Statute 501.171. Providers must submit these insurance documents within ten calendar days of notice of intent to award, and no work can commence until all required insurance coverages are obtained and verified.
