A clean, 64-acre site on the installation has been designated for the USSPACECOM C2F. The operational HQ facility is expected to accommodate approximately 1800 personnel. Key facility components will include a Visitor Control Center, vehicle inspection area, and secure data center. The estimated total square footage (SF) for these primary facilities is 700,000 SF. The HQ facility will have stringent security features supporting 24/7operations. Interested parties should be highly experienced in the design and construction of technology-driven operations centers, resilient and redundant infrastructure, integrated information technology (IT) systems, secure space (ICD 705) standards, High-Altitude Electromagnetic Pulse (HEMP) hardening, and Radio Frequency (RF) Shielding.

The Government intends to utilize a progressive design-build project delivery method following Design-Build Institute of America (DBIA) best practices.
