About this file
This document is an Indemnification Agreement for a consultant working with the City of Lakeland, Florida, specifically related to an Airport Business Plan Update for Lakeland Linder International Airport. The agreement covers a potential five-year period and establishes the consultant's liability and insurance requirements when performing work for the city. The indemnification terms protect the City of Lakeland from potential damages, losses, and costs arising from the consultant's negligence or wrongful conduct during contract performance.
The agreement includes provisions for insurance carrier subrogation rights, with specific conditions for professional liability, and contains a savings clause to ensure compliance with Florida statutes, particularly Sections 725.06 and 725.08. While the document itself does not specify precise financial terms, it indicates that compensation will be determined by individual purchase orders or task authorizations. The contract requires the consultant to maintain comprehensive insurance coverage and explicitly waive certain subrogation rights, providing the City of Lakeland with broad protection against potential legal and financial risks associated with the contracted work.
