About this file
This is a Request for Quotation (RFQ) for the procurement of 10 CATSCAM Sensor Tag Packages by the Naval Undersea Warfare Center Division Newport (NUWCDIVNPT). The Government is seeking custom sensor tag packages that offer unique customization capabilities for housing and attachment types, including fin floats and fin clamps, to integrate with existing Government infrastructure. CATSCAM Sensor Tags are being procured on a brand name only basis, as they are the only known tags meeting the specialized customization requirements; alternative solutions would create unacceptable schedule delays and integration challenges. The procurement is structured as a Firm Fixed Price purchase order with a small business set-aside classification, subject to the North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) Code 334511 with a size standard of 1,350 employees or fewer.
Qualified suppliers, including authorized distributors, are eligible to submit capability statements, proposals, or quotations for consideration. The Product Service Code (PSC) is 6640. The Government has confirmed small business program concurrence through the NUWCDIVNPT Office of Small Business Program (OSBP). All responsible sources may participate in this procurement. Further procurement details, including technical specifications, delivery timelines, pricing instructions, and submission requirements, are contained within the attached RFQ document.

PLEASE READ THIS ENTIRE NOTICE CAREFULLY AS IT CONSTITUES THE ONLY NOTICE THAT WILL BE ISSUED.
This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in FAR Subpart 12.6-Streamlined Procedures for Evaluation and Solicitation for Commercial Items, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; quotations are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. Request for Quote (RFQ) Number is N66604-26-Q-0399. This solicitation will be posted for less than fifteen (15) days.
The Naval Undersea Warfare Center Division Newport (NUWCDIVNPT) intends to award a Firm Fixed Price type purchase order on a brand name only basis for 10 CATSCAM Sensor Tag Packages as described below. CATSCAM Sensor Tags are currently the only known tags that offer the unique ability to heavily customize their housing and attachment types (e.g., fin floats, fin clamps) that integrate into the Government’s current infrastructure, which is necessary for this requirement. No other sensor tags have the customization required, and creating one that does would impact schedule requirements and incur unacceptable delays associated with integration into the Government’s existing infrastructure.
Qualified suppliers including authorized distributors will be considered and must meet the Government’s minimum requirements detailed below. All responsible sources may submit a capability statement, proposal, or quotation which shall be considered by the agency.
