Notice of Intent 5000156798
DocXpress Maintenance and Support
The Department of Internal Revenue Service (IRS) intends to make a Sole Source award to CBI Consultants formerly Impressive Solutions for the purchase of DocXpress Maintenance and Support. The National Distribution Center (NDC), located in Bloomington, IL, is responsible for maintaining the Inline Print System (IPS). The IPS is used solely by the NDC and is comprised of one or more printers, an SQL Server database and a set of applications (DocXpress) that enables the IRS to produce, on demand, paper copies of electronic documents for order fulfillment. IPS eliminates the need to physically store paper copies of thousands of documents with little demand, such as prior year forms.
A maintenance/support contract is required to keep the DocXpress software and SQL Server Database functioning properly and avoid any extended downtime, which would create a work stoppage.
The period of performance is for a base year and four option periods.
This is not a Request for Quote (RFQ), but a Notice of Intent. No RFQ will be issued.
Interested parties may, however, request further information (no later than 5:00 PM eastern time, March 27, 2023 by email to Contracting Specialist, Leatrice Person at leatrice.f.person@irs.gov .
