In accordance with the California Code of Regulations, Title 15, Division 3, Chapter 1 Subchapter 5, Article 9, under the Joint Venture Program (“Program”) CALPIA is required to open and maintain blocked bank savings deposit accounts (“Account(s)”) for the savings portion of certain eligible incarcerated individual-employee(s) (“Recipient” or "Recipients") compensation. Consistent with the Program, Recipients are not to have access to these accounts until the Recipients are released from their current incarceration in the California prison system, or as otherwise provided under 15 USC 3485, as amended. The Administrator (as defined below) and not the Bank will be responsible for monitoring any transaction activity in compliance with the restrictions.
