About this file

This is a Questions and Answers document issued by the California Department of General Services, Office of Business and Acquisition Services (OBAS), on behalf of the Facilities Management Division, addressing bidder inquiries for IFB Statewide Medical Surveillance. The document, dated April 2, 2026, clarifies that bidders must submit proposals for the full scope of services covering all regions and geographic areas, though subcontracting is permitted. Medical surveillance services must be provided through contractor-provided clinics rather than mobile services, with clinics required to be located within 50 miles of service locations identified in Exhibit A, Attachment 1. The IFB explicitly excludes mobile service delivery options from the scope of work.

The Q&A document does not address specific pricing terms, set-asides, incumbent information, funding sources, or contract duration. No response deadlines, due dates, or award dates are specified within this particular document. The clarifications provided focus solely on service delivery methodology and geographic coverage requirements to ensure bidders understand the fundamental parameters of the solicitation before preparing their proposals.
