About this file

This document is an Addendum to an Invitation for Bid (IFB) issued by the Plymouth Public Schools in Plymouth, Massachusetts for the Supply and Delivery of Propane and Service. The IFB is seeking proposals for the supply and delivery of propane and propane equipment service for the period beginning February 1, 2024 through June 30, 2026. The Addendum provides an amended source for pricing and responds to a question related to references. Specifically, the Addendum revises the pricing methodology, replacing the Selkirk, NY price with the Gas Supply Resources LLC Propane Base Price Notice for Providence, Rhode Island, plus operating expenses and profit. The Addendum also clarifies that bidders may use their own company reference sheet rather than the form provided, as long as they include at least one reference from near Plymouth and a minimum of three additional references.

The pricing for the propane will be a differential fluctuating bid price per gallon added to the Gas Supply Resources LLC Propane Base Price Notice for Providence, Rhode Island, plus operating expenses and profit. The winning bidder will be required to email the price sheet to the Town weekly on a bi-monthly basis or as they are received by the vendor.

Amended Source for Pricing

On page 5 under subheading ‘Source Price Adjustment Posting’ replace the crossed-out language with the italicized language

Differential Fluctuating bid price per gallon will be added to the Principal Averages Selkirk, NY price as published on page one of BPN’s Weekly Propane newsletter to the Gas Supply Resources LLC Propane Base Price Notice for (a two-week period) at Providence Rhode Island plus Operating Expenses and Profit (O.E.P.). The winning bidder will be required to email the price sheet to the Town weekly on a bi-monthly basis or as they are received by the vendor.

Response to question

1. Are we able to use our company reference sheet? Do the references need to be from Plymouth?

Response: You may use your company reference sheet that is provided to others rather than the form included in the IFB packet.

This is the only form that may be substituted. There needs to be at least ONE reference provided who is located NEAR Plymouth along with a minimum of THREE additional references.
