About this file

This document is an Invitation for Bid (IFB) titled "Drug Testing Services" issued by the California Department of Consumer Affairs (DCA). The IFB provides responses to questions received from prospective bidders regarding the procurement. Key details include:

The DCA is seeking bids for drug testing services, but has not provided estimated annual or 8-month quantities for the services. Bidders are instructed to refer to Addendum #1 for the Bidder's Cost Sheet, which contains the line items and format for pricing. The DCA indicates that the cost sheet should include a "Total Cost" column, and the "Total Amount for 9 months" line item should be changed to "8 Months". Bidders are also informed that any "Miscellaneous Tests" ordered by the Medical Review Officer (MRO) or at the request of DCA should cover Urine & Hair testing. The DCA confirms that MRO services are only required for positive test results, not negative results.
