About this file
This is an Invitation for Bid (IFB) document from the Hancock County Board of Education Nutrition Department in Georgia for bread items to be supplied during School Year 2026. The IFB requests bids for eight bread product categories, including whole wheat bread, white bread with whole grain enrichment, hamburger buns, hoagie buns, slider buns, dinner rolls, and hotdog buns in both whole grain and white varieties. Each item specifies nutritional requirements, such as whole grain content and grain equivalent portions per serving, with quantities listed as estimates that may be increased or decreased according to actual demand and contract terms. The document provides a standard bid submission format with designated spaces for vendor name, product specifications, purchase units, and bid pricing.
Pricing for all listed bread items is presented with placeholder values of $0.0000, indicating that vendors are required to submit their proposed unit prices for each bread category during the bidding process. The specifications emphasize compliance with whole grain enrichment standards, as multiple items require 51% whole grain composition to meet nutrition program requirements. No information regarding set-asides, incumbent vendors, specific contract term duration, renewal options, response deadlines, or funding amounts is included in this specification document.
