About this file
This is an addendum to an Invitation for Bid issued by the St. Johns River Water Management District for aquatic vegetation shredding services in the Orange Creek Restoration Area (IFB 41692). The primary change to the original solicitation is the extension of the response submission deadline to 2:00 p.m. on Tuesday, November 4, 2025. The project scope encompasses approximately 50 acres of shredding plus fire lines, with a second cut potentially required to sink vegetation. Respondents must acknowledge receipt of this addendum in their submittal to be considered for award.
Regarding project references and qualifications, respondents may cite no more than one similar project completed for the District. When a District project is cited as a reference, respondents should not contact District staff for a reference letter; instead, they must simply indicate the District's Project Number for the cited project. Additional clarifications address that this is not a single shredding operation, as vegetation management may require multiple cuts depending on field conditions.
