About this file

This document is Addendum 1 to Invitation for Bid (IFB) 41310 issued by the St. Johns River Water Management District, pertaining to the purchase and delivery of liquid aluminum sulfate for Lake and Orange County, Florida. The addendum extends the bid submittal deadline to 2:00 p.m. on Thursday, June 26, 2025, and addresses several clarifying questions from potential bidders. The contract involves purchasing liquid aluminum sulfate in bulk tank truck loads, with the District budgeting $175,000 annually and anticipating no split deliveries across the three shipping locations.

The addendum confirms there are no Minority/Women Business Enterprise (M/WBE) requirements for this contract and clarifies submission requirements, including that only one reference is needed and the sample agreement need not be returned. The volume of liquid aluminum sulfate will depend on bid pricing, with potential budget increases during "wet" years to account for additional pumping needs. Bidders must provide documentation authorizing their firm to transport and deliver aluminum sulfate, and they are required to acknowledge receipt of this addendum in their submittal. The procurement specialist, Breanna Pierce, is available for questions via phone at (386) 643-1168 or email at bpierce@sjrwmd.com.
