About this file
This is Addendum One to IFB 2CA07066 issued by the California Department of Forestry and Fire Protection (CAL FIRE) for Above Ground Fuel Storage Tank Replacement Services. The addendum provides questions and answers related to the replacement of a split 500-gallon diesel/500-gallon gasoline above ground storage tank. Key project details clarified include that a vapor recovery system is not required, the existing tanks have been drained but contain residual liquid, and CAL FIRE will be responsible for filling the new gasoline and diesel tanks to capacity after installation.
The addendum specifies that bidders must maintain their pricing for the entire term of the Agreement. Required permits include State Fire Marshal approval, County Air Quality Management District/Control Board Authority to Construct, and local fire department permits if required. There is no history of fuel leaks from the existing system, and the original foundation plans from 1973 are not available. Tim Bolton is listed as the contact person for the IFB, and all binding information must be issued in writing as an official addendum.
