About this file
This document is an Addendum to Invitation for Bid (IFB) 11A3883 for the Lab Ventilation Control System Removal and Installation project in San Diego County, California. The project requires the contractor to provide all labor, tools, equipment, materials, supplies, travel, and incidentals necessary to upgrade the existing ventilation control system, install damper actuators, ancillary control panel, hood vents, control wiring, exhaust plume, and remove and properly dispose of replaced equipment. The services will be performed at the Caltrans District 11, Kearny Mesa Lab, located in San Diego, CA.
The addendum provides clarification on the definition of the VFD (Variable Frequency Drive) interlock, confirming that the existing VFD will remain and that no new VFD will be installed. All other terms and conditions set forth in the original IFB remain in full force and effect.
