About this file

This document is an Addendum to an Invitation for Bid (IFB) solicitation issued by the California Department of Water Resources (DWR) for geological exploration drilling well installation services on an as-needed basis across Sacramento County and Sacramento City. The anticipated term of the agreement is one (1) year with two (2) one (1) year options under the same terms and conditions. The scope of work includes sonic and mud-rotary drilling, well installation, development, and testing. Key quantities include 2,400 feet of sonic drilling, 10,500 feet of mud-rotary pilot hole drilling, and up to 8,250 feet of 3-inch monitoring well installation. The bid due date is not specified, but the addendum identifies changes to the original bid documents, including modifications to the bid sheet.

The bid sheet specifies unit prices and estimated quantities for various drilling, well installation, and testing activities. Pricing is provided for both the base term and two option years. There is no indication of any set-asides or incumbent contractor. The solicitation states that there is no guarantee of work under this contract, and unit prices will prevail over extended totals in the event of computational errors.
