About this file

The document is Attachment A for Invitation for Bid (IFB) 006-2026, issued by Greene County, Missouri, for an annual traffic signal maintenance contract. The procurement covers comprehensive maintenance and construction services for traffic signal infrastructure, including installation and repair of pull boxes, conduits, power and signal cabling, fiber optic systems, signal poles, controllers, concrete bases, power supplies, battery backup systems, and detector loops. The contract establishes specific completion timelines for various maintenance and installation activities, with most items requiring 5-7 days for completion, while some specialized tasks are to be mutually determined by the contractor and engineer. The bid proposals were due by September 25, 2025, with the solicitation originally posted on August 26, 2025.

The contract appears structured as an annual maintenance agreement with flexible time allocations for different infrastructure components. While specific budget details are not explicitly stated, the scope suggests a significant investment in transportation infrastructure management. The procurement process seems designed to select a technically proficient vendor capable of maintaining Greene County's traffic signal systems, with an emphasis on responsive and comprehensive maintenance services. Contractors are expected to demonstrate technical expertise, appropriate licensing, insurance coverage, and proven experience in municipal traffic signal system maintenance. The document indicates that liquidated damages may be applied, and the engineer retains final decision-making authority on task completion timelines and specifications.
