About this file

This document is a Request for Information (RFI) issued by the Air Force Nuclear Weapons Center (AFNWC) ICBM Systems Directorate regarding potential future contract opportunities for the Minuteman III System Program Office. The RFI seeks industry feedback on draft performance-based requirements, specifically requesting contractors to assess the clarity of attached requirements, identify potential risks or challenges in a performance-based acquisition approach, share experience with similar service acquisitions, and propose methods for measuring contractor performance.

The RFI indicates the IDOS (ICBM Development, Operations, and Sustainment) team is considering an Industry Day in late August at Hill Air Force Base, Utah, and is exploring OASIS+ as a potential contract vehicle. Interested parties are asked to respond to detailed questions about proposal viability, potential execution challenges, performance measurement approaches, and OASIS+ contract details. Responses should be emailed to specific Air Force email addresses, with the understanding that this RFI is for informational purposes only, no funds are available, and the information is non-binding. Responses to questions will be posted on the Sam.gov Contract Opportunities website.
