Broadmore 1700 Request for Information

Post Date: July 17, 2017 Response Date: July 27, 2017 GSA, FAS, Assisted Acquisition Support Services R6 has received a requirement from National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration (NOAA) to provide hardware and software maintenance support.

Background: WCDAS/NSOF CentruyLink DS3 remains part of the critical connectivity infrastructure. The inclusion of NWAVE allowed for decommissioning of a separate Windstream DS3. The three 8 port DS1 expanision cards will allow more bandwidth to be leveraged on the CentureyLink DS3.

This procurement is for Broadmore 1700 expansion cards.

Broadmore SAM, T1 (DS-1), 8 Port Circuit, Nx64, Structured & Unstructured

Description of Requirement (See attached Bill of Materials for specific required items and specifications)

The anticipated solicitation posting date is scheduled for July 2017. This acquisition will be awarded to one single vendor.

The General Services Administration (GSA), Federal Acquisition Service (FAS), would like to offer you the opportunity to review the following attachment:

After reviewing the attachments, we request that you please complete the Response Document Questionnaire concerning this procurement. Vendor Instructions for completing questionnaire:

a) Please answer every question included in this RFI to the best of your ability. If the question is not applicable to your company please indicate N/A for that question. If you do not know the answer, please indicate as such in response to the question.

b) Please type or print your company name and DUNS at the top of every page of the questionnaire before submitting your response.

c) Please only return the actual response document questionnaire along with any other applicable documents you have created to answer the questions.

d) Please write legibly or type

e) Please provide more than just a yes or no answer, if possible. Your detailed response to this questionnaire will help shape this acquisition and make it more thorough and concise.

General Questions

1. Please list the Multiple Awards Schedule (MAS) and SIN these items are currently covered under.

2. Are you able to provide all CLINS via the Multiple Awards Schedule (MAS) or open market?

3. If these CLINs are not currently available through your MAS contract, do you intend to make them available through your MAS contract? In the event this was solicited through FAR 8 (e-Buy), please note that it is required to have all items on your MAS Contract upon the closing date of the solicitation.

4. Would you submit a quote or proposal for this acquisition once solicited?

5. How long does this solicitation need to be posted in order for your company to compile an offer/quote, i.e. 5 days, 10 days, 15 days, etc?

Alternative Solution Questions

6. Given the constraints indicated in the Background, can you propose an alternative solution other than Broadmore 1700?

7. Will it be compatible with existing CentruyLink DS3 Broadmore 1700 equipment, please explain?

8. Will it impact warranties associated with existing CenturyLink DS3 and Broadmore 1700 equipment please explain?

9. Please provide documentation of your market research to substantiate your findings. The Government may evaluate proposed alternative support to determine technical acceptability.

10. Please describe how the alternative solution will be integrated into existing equipment.

11. Please provide a list of products and services satisfying identical or similar service requirements.

12. Please provide the length of time the product has been produced or service provided.

13. Please describe your training and training support capabilities.

14. Average time between model changes and practice of providing continued parts inventories, upgrades, or production for phased-out models ·

15. Please describe your plan for handling upgrades.

16. List companies currently using the product or services.

Warranties and Quality Control Questions.

18. Description of contractor’s quality controls including extent of statistical process controls ·

Once the Request for Quote (RFQ) is posted, all quotes shall be submitted in GSA’s AASBS Portal, formerly IT-Solutions Shop (ITSS), http://itss.gsa.gov. Failure to submit the quote in AASBS will result in exclusion from consideration. Contact the AASBS registration desk at 877-472-4877 to complete your registration.

20. Is your company registered in ITSS?
